JULEP MAVEN MAIL

I finally got my Julep Maven package. They sent it to the wrong person, so it got opened. I finally got it, with everything in it.

I'll just show you pictures of what I got today and I'll do a review of Alfre tomorrow.

(my bag was ripped open on the bottom... :( )

 I received three polishes, a not yet released color for fall, Alfre, a pink named Cameron, and a clear base, Nail Therapy. Also a trial sized pack of lotion and hand scrub and a full sized bottle of Facial for hands.

Have you ordered a Julep package yet? If so, what was in yours?!

RASTA COLOR WATER MARBLE FAIL

Yep, the name explains it all.

I wanted my nails to be rasta colors and all Bob Marley like, but instead they turned out looking like the inside of a hamburger... lettuce ketchup and mustard :[ LOL.

I didn't bother cleaning them up much because I absolutely hated them. lol. I wanted to show you all anyways just because :)

Maybe I'll wear these to the next cookout... lol.

PINK LEOPARD PRINT

I was going to save this mani for PINK WEDNESDAY but I'm just gonna post it today :) There's quite a few mistakes, some stray marks, but I couldn't see it until I looked at the pictures lol.

COTTON CANDY WATER MARBLE

On to my water marble :) I wanted to do cotton candy colors, because mmmm... it's so good! :D

I somehow messed up my pointer finger :[ oh well, I still like it :)

MY COUSIN IS TURNING TWO!

Hi everyone :)
Tomorrow my little cousin turns two years old! I can't believe it. Time flies & they grow up so fast!

I got her a a little dress with polka dots on it, so natually, I had to match my nails! lol.

(Let's pretend that I didn't already mess up my middle nail!)

Her dress is black with white polka dots, but I wanted my nails to be more girly :) The party is at a splash park... it's 100 degrees outside, so if I don't pass out then I'll be sure to take pictures :)

EARTHY WATER MARBLE

Hello :) I just tried my very first water marble. Well, kind of. I tried it on one finger before... but that was a train wreck so I never tried it again! lol.

I used blue (China Glaze- Shower Together) and green (China Glaze- Tree Hugger), to look like a globe! aha. Too bad it isn't Earth Day.

(I wish they all looked like my middle fnger... sigh.)

 I should have definitely cleaned up better afterwards, but the blue kept staining my whole finger! Remind me not to use blue for water marbling again lol.


This was probably the messiest thing I've ever done, mainly because it's just sticking your finger in a pool full of polish aha. (I did use tape, though.)

How do you think I did? Too messy?

PINK WEDNESDAY!

This morning I woke up bright and early to paint my nails pink! Lol.

I'm in a hurry to get to a meeting, so I'll just make this brief :)

This is my first sponge gradient, so it isn't perfect (obviously) :)
As I was trying to figure pinks to use I realized that half of my stash is pink! Whoops...
Do you have way more of one color than other colors?
