GLITTER CRAZY!

Yep, the title explains it all. I saw glitter, and i went for it lol.
I can't tell if I like it, or if it looks like a 6 year old did my nails... lol.
What I used: Wet n Wild's black creme, Claire's loose glitter, elf eyeliner brush, cheap clear coat (I used petites), seche vite fast dry, don't forget to use a piece of paper underneath or some sort of tray! You know how glitter is... it'll get everywhere and stay there forever!

Paint your nail black, dip your brush in the glitter, slightly tap the brush so the glitter falls off onto your nail (while wet!) and then apply your clear coat. (I used a cheap one in case glitter was still on my brush.) Then, apply fast dry top coat, and done! :D

Now, just trying to figure out a mani for PINK Wednesday! <3
Goodnight!

VINTAGE FLOWERS

Hello all :)

Yesterday I was reading through everyones blogs and I saw this. I jus HAD to try it out :)
It's so cute, and really simple to do, without looking simple :) I really like it.

However, I needed a dark green polish. I don't even have one. What the heck? I looked all in my stash, and I couldn't find it... maybe i've just never purchased one. Weird.

(picture from ebay)
Also, I had to use a bobby pin for the dots (which works just fine, just a little tricky to hold steady.) I have been waiting foreverrr for my dotting tools to come in (from Hong Kong.) Did you know that Sally's has ONE dotting tool for $6 and you can get these for about $2 including shipping? Not to mention, they're really cute. I love ebay :) lol. Hopefully they will come in today! *crosses fingers*

OH! Before I forget to post this, Elemental Styles is hosting a giveaway for a lot of great things. Go check it out :) only two days left!
Anyways, gotta get back to my chores! Have a lovely Monday everyone!<3

BIG RUBY SUPERCOOL NAIL TATTOOS

Hello there!
I've been seeing Big Ruby nail tattoos coming up everywhere! So of course, I had to try them.

They have 6 different designs, but I only bought 2 for now. I ordered sea creatures and tweet.
Each set contains two sheets of tattoos with 10 designs. 86 tattoos in mani and pedi sizes.

(I'm a sucker for owls, so I HAD to get these!)

(just a little fyi, I almost hit an owl last night in my car.
I got my nail tattoos yesterday... with owls!
so it had to be a sign that i should use those first. lol!)

Also, the shipping was incredibly fast. Not even an hour after I ordered these, they had been shipped. I ordered these Monday afternoon, and saw them in the mail on Friday. I don't think i checked the mail on Thursday, so it's possible I got them on Thursday.

Overall, I really like them. Really easy to apply, just do it like you would any temp tattoo. Not to mention, they are so freakin cute. I can't wait to use the sea creatures!

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! <3

PINK Wednesday.

Happy Wednesday everyone!
Today I have a mani inspired by Victoria's Secret bags.

What I used: PURE ICE- Love & Finger Paints- Primary Color (original, huh?)

I probably should have used tape to tape them off & paint them, but I was in a hurry and (thought that) it would be easier just to use a fine brush, but my hand is so unsteady lol.
I (just) bought For Audrey by China Glaze, a little late I know! So i'll probably be doing something with that for my next mani, i love it.

Hope everyone has a great day!<3

OOPS...

Hello :)
This past weekend just went by SO fast. I feel like I have not had time to do anything, ah.
First off (and nothing to do with nails!) I found a puppy in our ditch! It had been raining ALL week, so I guess she was in the pipe and getting soaking wet :( poor baby...

(letting her ears dry after her bath lol)
Ok, on to the nails! My cuticles have been horrible. I've never used any cuticle oil on them or anything. I bought some from Sallys a few weeks ago, it was in an orange tube (I cant remember the name, but it smelled like mango.) It felt gross, super oily and you have to wipe it off because it never soaked in. I went to walgreens Friday and saw Sally Hansen's Nail Nutrition, with green tea and soy... I love it! It says to use daily, and I probably use it about 3-4 times a day. My cuticles are on their way to getting healthy! :)

BLACK AND YELLOW

Hi there!

The mani i'm showing is one that I did yesterday. I wore it to work and i could not stop looking at my nails! They were SO bright. hah.

(please ignore my AWFUL dry cuticles... im working on them!)

I used Chine Glaze: White on White, Celtic Sun, and Liquid Leather.

I used White on White underneath so I wouldn't have to use my whole bottle of Celtic Sun to make it opaque :)

For the black I used a pair of kid scissors and tape. Just cut your tape, tape your nails, press tape down, and paint!
(the 2nd to the right!)
Just add a top coat, and you're done. :)

I'm going to bed now, goodnight!

SCOTCH TAPE RAYS

Hello :) It's my first post, yay :)

I plan on coming up with my own nail designs, but for this one I actually tried a mani from Erika.

I used China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise, China Glaze Pink Voltage, and Orly Hook Up.

(I should have cleaned my cuticles up, whoops!)

I did an ok job, i guess. hah :)
